Flooring Glasgow – First Floors will beat any like for like quote

Here are First Floors we always do our upmost to offer our customers not only the most up to date flooring products on the market, but also great value for money.

As we all know, these days counting the pennies and getting that little bit extra is very important. At First Floors on Fenwick Road in Giffnock, we will endeavour to meet all your flooring Glasgow needs. If there is a product that you would like us to obtain for you and you have seen it online or in a home or business, then we will do our upmost to source it. We have a huge range of flooring contacts and will do our best to find exactly what you are looking for. If it’s available, we will be able to track it down. Choosing the perfect floor is not an easy task, but here at First Floors we will help guide you through this process. The first thing to think about is what kind of floor you would like. You may be thinking of a laminate as it is cost efficient as will last a long time, or you have been thinking of a real wood floor – although if you are running a business and have a high level of footfall the perhaps you might want to opt for a vinyl with a guarantee. There are many points to take into consideration when choosing the right product. If you desire a solid wood floor then this has to be nailed down onto existing floorboards. With a solid wood floor you cannot have underfloor heating as the board is just to thick. An engineered wood flooring board is comprised of 3 layers of plywood with a wood veneer on top. The very nature of the product makes it extremely solid and perfect for underfloor heating. With an engineered board you will not get the same contraction and expansion as a solid wood board. Many commercial contacts and residential customers are choosing an engineered board for these very reasons. Another plus with an engineered board is that they will come in a very varied range and if you are looking for that wide board look, then an engineered board is the choice for you. Once installed you cannot tell the difference between an engineered board and a solid wood floor. It can also be sanded down up to around 6 times. We would always recommend that a professional do this as you do not want to penetrate the veneer revealing the plywood underneath!! Taking into account all these factors you can then start to choose what is going to be the best floor for you. You may even decide on a beautiful luxury vinyl as it is water proof and so easy to keep clean. Our most popular product for the commercial market is Moduleo flooring – a luxury vinyl with exceptional hard wearing qualities and a guarantee. This comes in a range of finishes including slate, stone, concrete and wood and looks incredible. Pop into First Floors for your Flooring Glasgow needs and we will guide you through the process. We offer supply only or a full service of supply, fit and aftercare. Simply call us on 0141 638 0968

Fantastic service. David gave me great advice on which flooring would be most suitable for my business premises. Within the week Steven came to fit the flooring and, as promised, was in and out in a day. Can’t recommend this local Company enough. Anna Smylie ZuZu Giffnock.

We recently purchased engineered oak flooring and carpets from First Floors. The customer service from David and team was exceptional. We had just moved home from overseas and bought a house with no floors so we did not have access to allow First Floors to measure. Theye allowed us to use our own measurements as we wanted the floors laid ASAP once we had the keys. The floor is beautiful and laid very professionally (thanks Steven). The carpets are also lovely and exactly what I wanted. The only thing I would change about the experience would be to have First Floors assess the house in advance. We have fire doors which were a problem the day the carpets were laid. This was not the issue of First Floors and it was resolved quickly. Thanks again David, we would highly recommend First Floors to anyone.

Another Great Job Done!!
Just had our third floor project in seven years completed by First Floors once again.
Great service from David and his showroom team from assisting in the selection of materials through to arranging the installation. Chris and his team worked tidily and efficiently on the hardwood flooring with great attention to detail. Gordon who fitted the stair carpet was very professional in his work and was able to resolve some problematic details to our entire satisfaction.
Would definitely recommend First Floors.
