First Floors is thrilled to win another industry award, this time at the Scottish Independent Retail Awards 2018 for Best Independent Flooring Retailer 2018.

The awards dinner was held on April 17th at the Crowne Plaza in Glasgow and we were thrilled to be a recipient of this award.

First Floors has been serving customers in Glasgow and Ayrshire since 1994, and has now become one of the leading independent flooring retailers in Glasgow. As a family run company, we have expanded from just one person visiting homes with samples, to a small shop in Giffnock in 2012, and in 2014 to a 4,500 sq ft retail space in the heart of the southside on Fenwick Road.

We retail not only top brands like Amtico and Quick Step, but also innovative high-end flooring retailers such as Jacaranda and Fibre which are unavailable in other flooring showrooms.

Last year we won ‘Scotland’s Best Flooring Company at the Scottish Home Improvement Awards’, and we also won ‘Best Small Business’ at the East Renfrewshire Chamber of Commerce Business Awards. In addition, this year we are up for ‘Best Family Business’, ‘Best Independent Retailer’ and ‘Best Small Business’ at the 2018 East Renfrewshire Chamber of Commerce Business Awards.

Honestly so chuffed with my new floor. Everyone has been so helpful especially after I ran into issues on my end and had to delay getting my skirting on - everyone I spoke to has been so flexible, the joiner who fit the floor was really pleasant and quick too. Highly recommend!
